COMmunity biography

I am passionately committed to creating meaningful change in the world through helping people.

As a dedicated advocate, board member, and volunteer youth educator, I seek to empower others, especially young people, in creating a better world for indefinite generations.

While my professional career is highlighted on LinkedIn and my personal life shared with my family and friends, this biography is offered to share where else my heart lives.

I am blessed to explore ocean research, conservation and education in my contribution to our collective responsibly to the Earth. In that, I endeavor to help people, in the way and in the world that they need it. Always seeking to be in the spirit of service to others.

All things overcome, in which we unite, educating one another in love and humility to permeant the world’s corporate walls, transcend its boardrooms, and echo in its the legislative halls.

Through these roles, conversations and healthy disruptions, we may contribute to communities, people and programs that support underserved groups, advocate for equitable opportunities, and help create spaces where individuals, especially youth can and may thrive.

Drysuits or pantsuits, lecterns and boardrooms, I know that there’s an important role here for all of us in what is most certainly, a worthy battle.

Ocean Conservation & Exploration

Absolutely blessed, I grew up in the great Pacific Northwest, camping, sailing and exploring the outdoors. At 12, I saved up the money and earned my basic scuba certification. By 18 I was an instructor. Quickly, I found my ocean purpose training the next generation of explorers to help save the oceans.

COMMUNITY & VolunteErism

Very simply put, there is nothing more important than how we treat others.

It is in the state of our Earth, that we see a reflection of the respect we show for one another.

My Legal Career

I went to law school to save the world: as a PNW scuba diving, adventuring environmental attorney…it was all mapped out.

And as they do, roads wound, and I was blessed to begin my legal career as a criminal prosecutor. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start out.

Journeys of course continued to unfold and the next thing I knew I was corporate attorney.

Finally, after years of inhouse cutting my teeth, an environmental lawyer I became.

But then I came to learn of the family court crisis in America and abroad, one of the saddest examples being western Washington State.

As such, I am now pledged to help, however I can and may best, the victims of the family court crisis.
